Contains vitamins: A, D, C, B6, B12. Minerals: sodium, potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium.

Rich in vitamins A, C and K, vitamins of group B, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and manganese, parsley, if administered in moderate quantities, can be integrated in the diet of some animals, but always with moderation and sparingly. A balanced use of this plant is good for the functions of the liver and helps in the purification of the bowel. In dogs it also acts as an excellent diuretic and exerts a beneficial action in case of water retention. Moreover, the presence of flavonoids and vitamin C has an anti-inflammatory effect and contrasts the action of free radicals.

Rich in proteins, vitamin A, thiamine, niacin, phosphorus and copper, pumpkin also contains dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folic acid, magnesium, potassium and manganese. Dogs, of course, don’t need vitamin C because they produce it themselves, but the other nutrients can offer many benefits.

Vitamin A, for example, is critically important for vision.
Thiamine is necessary for carbohydrate metabolism.
Niacin is also important for metabolism, and it also helps keep your dog’s skin and coat healthy.
Copper is needed for iron absorption, but also for collagen formation.
Dietary fiber is the best nutrient for your dog’s digestive system.
Vitamin K is essential for the blood. Without vitamin K, the body would not be able to produce certain blood clotting factors, which are important for preventing bleeding in an injury case.
Riboflavin is necessary for muscle development and hair growth.
Vitamin B6 is very important. Without it, your dog would not be able to properly utilize amino acids.
Folate is needed for cell replication and growth. A folate deficiency can lead to megaloblastic anemia.
Magnesium is needed to absorb and utilize many vitamins and minerals.

When used regularly (in moderate amounts) for our four-legged friend, it decreases aging disorders, helps cleanse the blood promoting overall health and well-being. Garlic also improves the appearance of the dog’s coat and offers better resistance to parasites.  As a matter of fact garlic makes the dog produce a skin exhalation that is not at all perceivable by man, but that proves unbearable for parasites and insects inducing them to leave the animal.

They develop on the organism a rebalancing action of the metabolism and of the immune system. Specifically:

They have an immune-modulating action, that is, they stimulate the immune system when it is depressed and restrain it when it is too active, preventing the onset of auto-immune diseases;
They carry out a prebiotic function, being rich in fibers, producing benefits for the intestinal flora.
More and more often we see cases of intestinal inflammation in dogs and cats, determined by the intake of an excessive amount of wheat. Medicinal mushrooms have adaptogenic properties, their action therefore favors the adaptation of the animal’s body in particular situations of stress. The dog develops a greater resistance to stress.
Anti-aggregant function, that is, they thin the blood and are therefore particularly suitable in cardiopathic specimens.
Protects the liver, the antioxidant properties of Reishi mushrooms purify and protect the dog’s liver from the action of free radicals.
Lowers glycemic levels and helps regulate glucose levels.
They help support cardiac function by acting as vasodilators by decreasing blood pressure.

Also… one of the substances contained in the mushroom is ganoderic acid a triterpenoid compound that interferes with histamine production helping the alleviation of allergic reactions.

Pears contain large quantities of fiber and vitamins C and K. The antioxidant effect of this fruit helps prevent cancer and health problems due to aging. Also recognized are the stimulating properties of pears, which act on the intestine regulating its mechanisms, as well as their tendency to burn fat.

Brewer’s yeast is one of the best natural sources of vitamin B, so it helps maintain healthy dog nails and skin, provides extra shine to the coat, strengthens the immune system and improves the nervous system. The benefits of brewer’s yeast for dogs are numerous, as it contains all of the following vitamins:

Vitamin B1 or thiamine: fundamental for the correct synthesis of carbohydrates and their transformation into energy. It also intervenes in the process of glucose absorption by the nervous system, helps to maintain eye health and prevent diseases such as glaucoma.
Vitamin B2 or riboflavin: essential to maintain the health of the animal’s skin, nails and coat in perfect condition.
Vitamin B3 or niacin, on which the good functioning of the nervous system depends, given its role in the formation of neurotransmitters, synthesis of hormones, proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
Vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid: it is used to assimilate fats, proteins or carbohydrates, fundamental for maintaining the general health of the animal. Likewise, it serves to synthesize iron, prevent anemia, and strengthen the immune system.
Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine which is responsible, along with vitamins B1, B3 and B5, for assimilating proteins, fats and carbohydrates. It also intervenes in the process of creation of red blood cells and, above all, it favors the development of antibodies, strengthening the immune system.
Vitamin B8 or biotin, which maintains the health of the skin and helps the growth of a strong, soft and shiny coat, preventing it from falling out. It also intervenes in the process of hemoglobin production and glucose absorption.
Vitamin B9 or folic acid, necessary for proper brain function and growth of the puppy.
Vitamin B12 or cyanocobalamin, along with the previous vitamins, participates in the process of synthesis of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, the formation of red blood cells and helps to maintain a healthy nervous system of the animal.

The main advantage is the prevention against possible deficiencies of some of the mentioned vitamins, the consequences of which may be the development of cardiovascular diseases, anemia, hair loss or problems related to fatigue.
